a5c7b9f00b The story of what happens after a master thief achieves his last big score, when the F.B.I. Agent who promised he'd capture him, is about to do just that. Two master thieves are finally retiring after one last successful mission. Residing in their own tropical paradise, their old nemesis, FBI Agent Stan P. Lloyd shows up to make sure they really are retired. Docked in the port is an ocean liner called the "Diamond Cruise" and Stan is convinced that they're not really retired at all, and that this is the next setup. While Lola is busy settling into their new life and trying to find ways to keep busy, Max is contemplating whether or not to steal the diamond. Now the question is, will he? Will Stan finally catch him after eight years of chasing him? Will Lola help Max steal it? And what of that shady character that told Max he must steal the diamond for him? After the sunsets a great comedy and I think Pierce Brosnans great. Don Cheadle was very poor I think but Salma Hayeks tops were nice. In After the sunset there is too much sex and nudity for the rating I mean eight year olds could go see that and Pierce Brosnan has his shirt off for like half the film. 30 percent of the film is shot of either topless men or women with hardly anything on apart from bra and knickers or a bikini! Sometimes sex scenes make a movie but in this case it just ruins it. The language is great though, not too much swearing but where there is swearing its funny.I love Pierce Brosnan, I think hes cool and the movies cast well. Woody Harleson is good too, he makes the film fuuny. Overall this is a great film, so get tickets and go see it, but a message to all the crew from After the Sunset - next time miss out most of the sex and nudity!

From David Nicholson, Film Critic, Texas Saw the movie during a sneak preview and what you see in the trailer is about all you get. The movie makes for a great trailer, but not a 100 minute movie. The idea of the movie is entertaining but the direction was very lacking. I think the director could not decide if he wanted a suspense, drama or comedy. Ended up with none of them. The script and acting seemed rushed and not fleshed out. The story just did not keep you really interested, very predictable too. It tried to be a heist movie, a romantic drama and a suspense movie. Butit tried for all it fell short of the heist part. The first 10 minutes and last 10 minutes are about a robbery. The middle is about the people you end up not really knowing anything about. The best part of the movie however is the location, the movie is beautifulis the background. To sum, slightly entertaining but overall disappointing. Instantly forgettable caper comedy.
